In late 2018, I embarked on a travel journey, envisioning an abundance of inspiring lands waiting to be explored. Yet, my path took me no further than Morocco, just shy of a year later, revealing the journey I was actually called to — the journey within. Amidst the beauty of coastal villages and the untamed desert lands of North Africa, I went through a ‘dark night of the soul’ — a type of death to the self I had created — where I peeled back the layers of my soul and found long yearned for healing, while unraveling the truth concealed within my heart — liberating the inner light which was hidden deep beneath an unconscious psyche filled with darkness. As I transmuted pain into beauty, rewrote my narrative, and at last, heeded the whispers of the little girl residing within, I finally re-connected to my true Self. Reclaiming my feminine core essence I discovered my purpose as a woman, a cherished daughter of God — to pour back into the world what God has poured into me, bringing His light into the darkness, just as He did in me.
